Proposed Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) pertaining to the control of dogs within the Borough of Hyndburn.

The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime, and Policing Act 2014 superseded the old dog control orders with PSPO. The Act requires local authorities to consult with the local community and relevant stakeholders about the making of a PSPO.

The 3 year period of the existing PSPO is now coming to an end so once again Hyndburn Borough Council is consulting with the local community and stakeholders about the proposals to vary and extend the current controls on dogs for a further three years.
